Terms & Conditions

The details of your (hereafter called “the customer”, “diver” “you” or “your”) trip booking (hereafter called “the trip”) with W Group Pte Ltd (hereafter called “the company”, “us”, “we” or “our”) will be sent out in the itinerary to be issued to you upon making a reservation prior to the trip.


The itinerary should be read together with these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), which apply to all trips, unless otherwise specifically stated. Additional terms (“Addenda”) may also apply to specific trips depending on the destination policy.


Please carefully review these Terms and Conditions, as well as the terms of any applicable Addenda, before making your reservation. By making a reservation with us, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions, and the terms of any applicable Addenda.


1.       Reservation, Deposit and Full Payment

a.       All bookings and reservations made by the customer will be confirmed and made only after payments have been processed.

b.      Customers’ full details are required upon confirmation. This includes but is not limited to full name as reflected in the passport, date of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport, nationality, diving qualifications, known allergies and dietary requirements.

c.       W Group Pte Ltd requires that 30% deposit (non-refundable) of the total calculated tour price for every confirmed booking. The remaining balance must be received by W Group Pte Ltd as stated below:

d.      Full payment for trips to Pulau Tioman, Riau Islands and Pulau Hantu (hereafter called “short-haul trips”) must be made at least 14 days prior to the trip.

e.      Full payment for trips excluding those mentioned in (1d) (hereafter called “long-haul trips”) must be made at least 30 working days before departure date.

f.        If you fail to make full payment by the stipulated deadline, we shall be entitled to treat your reservation as cancelled and to impose a cancellation fee, in accordance with clause 2 below.

g.       All goods and trips sold are non-refundable or exchangeable.


2.       Cancellation by Customers

a.       Cancellations of trips made for any reason are non-refundable.

b.      Cancellation fees incurred are calculated based on full cost of the trip:

Number of days between departure date and receipt of cancellation notice

Cancellation fee per traveller

Within 30 days

25% cancellation charge

Within 14 days

50% cancellation charge

Within 7 days

100 % cancellation charge

c.       Requests for postponement are applicable only to short-haul trips and are allowed if the request is made 14 days prior to the initially intended date of departure.



3.       Skills Review

a.       W Group Pte Ltd requires all certified divers participating in leisure dive trips or advanced courses to have dived in the past one year from the intended dive date or have attended a scuba refresher session conducted by any certified dive instructor.

b.      W Group Pte Ltd reserves the right to restrict diving activities if the instructor has any concerns regarding the diver’s safety.


4.       Amendments by Company

a.       W Group Pte Ltd reserves the rights to make revisions to quotation rates at any time, giving no less than 60 days of written notice. Such revisions will not affect confirmed reservations made prior to the notice of revision.

b.      W Group Pte Ltd reserves the right to amend dive itineraries for safety reasons; these may include adapting to the diver’s abilities, inclement weather, unforeseeable tide conditions, or any other circumstances that will compromise safety.


5.       Rooming

a.       Supplemental charges will be incurred for upgrades from standard rooming arrangements depending on the destination accommodation.

b.      Single customers will be roomed with other travellers of the same gender.

c.       If the company is unable to room the customer with someone of the same sex and a room is available. The available room will then be to given to the single traveller with no supplement charges incurred.

d.      The addition of extra beds may or may not be allowed in rooms or cabins according to policies of the accommodation provider.


6.       Travel Documents and Travel Insurance

a.       Subject to this clause, each traveller is solely responsible for ensuring that his or her passport or other travel document is valid for at least 6 months from the expected date of departure from the last point of departure in the itinerary.

b.      Customers are also responsible for ensuring that he or she has all necessary visas, permits, passes, licenses, vaccinations, health certificates and/or other documents or approvals as may be required by the applicable governmental authorities of the destination country(ies).


7.       Forms to be Completed

a.       All divers are required to produce a valid dive certification/qualification and sign a completed registration form/waiver (provided upon receipt of full payment) prior to the commencing diving activities.

b.      If you have, or suspect, any prevailing medical conditions that might affect your dives, you will need signed clearance from a doctor valid within 12 months of your planned trip. Where doctor’s clearance is needed, we ask you to arrange this before arrival where possible and to bring it with you to avoid any delays, additional costs or even missing the trip.ring it with you to avoid any delays, additional costs or even missing the trip.
