SDI Scuba Discovery program

This program allows you to experience the basics of diving at the convenience of a local swimming pool under the supervision of a SDI professional. During SDI Scuba Discovery program, you’ll master some of the basic concepts and scuba skills which would be helpful should you decide to pursue a SDI Open Water Diver course.

Please note that SDI Scuba Discovery program is conducted in the pool only. It does not certify you to dive in the sea.

SDI Open Water Diver

SDI Open Water Diver course, the basic diving certification course to a lifetime of intense adventure. Your entry course to explore the 70% of earth. The First dive agency to incorporate the use of modern dive computer within entry level dive course.

What is required?

· Minimum age – 10 years old ~15 years old (SDI Junior Open Water Diver Course**)

· 10min swim/float without any swimming aids

· 200m swim OR

· 300m swim with mask, snorkel and fins

What is in SDI Open Water Diver Course?

· 1-2 Theory sessions (4-5 hours in total)

· 1 Pool session (6 hours)

· 4 Open Water Training Dives

What will you are learning?

Throughout SDI Open Water Diver certification, you will learn to dive independently with a buddy applying the skills and knowledge you have learnt, up to a maximum depth of 18m/60ft. learning syllabus includes:

SDI Advanced Adventure Diver

SDI Advanced Adventures Diver program allows participants to participate/experience 4 SDI specialty courses. Upon completion of this program, participants will only be certified as a SDI Advanced Adventure Diver. However, upon logging of a total of 25 dives, participants than can be certified as a SDI Advanced Diver.

What is required?

The SDI Rescue Diver course expands your knowledge and experience as a diver. This course gives you valuable experience in emergency management. You’ll learn how to perform diver assists and rescues, manage dive accident situations and render first aid.

SDI Divemaster

Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the SDI Divemaster Certification program. Working closely with a SDI Instructor, you will expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. SDI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

What is required?

· Minimum age – 18 years old

· SDI Advanced Diver certification(Advanced certification must include: Deep, navigation and Night and Limited Visibility) or equivalent from another training organization with minimum 40 logged dives

· SDI Rescue Diver (or equivalent from another training organization)

· Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR – Primary Care) within past 24 months (or Emergency First Responder)

· Valid Basic First Aid (Secondary Care) within past 24 months (or Emergency First Responder)

· Show proof of 60 logged dives documenting experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation by end of the training schedule for certification purpose.

CPR1st Administrator

Many divers take the CPR1st Administrator course to meet program prerequisites, such as SDI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a SDI Dive master. However, most have also found the CPR1st Administrator program to be important in everyday life. They have taken a significant step in emergency preparedness, and feel confident that they can provide care should an emergency situation arise.

What will you be learning?

This course is a Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid combined into one program.It is designed to teach divers the proper techniques to safely administer CPR and evaluate and administer the correct First Aid for a given injury. The student will be qualified at the end of this specialty to:

· Recognize and evaluate an emergency situation and a victim.

· Know how to activate or alert the EMS(Emergency Medical Service)

· Be able to provide one(1)person adult CPR and administer the proper First Aid to a non-breathing or injured person
